I want to work for you- not for your insurance company. By not taking insurance, we are able to determine the appropriate frequency of sessions, you do not have to have a diagnosis and we have the freedom to work on your goals- not what the insurance company believes you should be working on.

Integrative trauma therapy (CRM) can be more effective in 90 minute sessions rather than 50 minute sessions, which is something that insurance will not fully cover.

You will need to confirm that I am in network with your BCBS plan, this will be billed at intake.

If your insurance plan covers “out of network” providers, you may be able to get reimbursed for part of the investment of services. You will need to call your insurance company and verify that you qualify for these benefits.

Yes! I will be working with a company called Thrizer. Thrizer will certify your out of network benefits and work with you to reimburse you for services. You can learn more about this process here.

As a therapist, I believe that it is important for mental health care to be accessible. If you are facing financial hardship, please reach out. I am able to offer a limited amount of appointment slots on a sliding scale. If you would like to not utilize out of network benefits and find yourself experiencing financial hardship, please reach out. We can have an honest conversation regarding your unique situation.

• If you currently have Medicaid benefits (CCBHO, Highmark Wholecare, Carelon, etc.) I am unable to provide services at a self-pay rate, and am not in network with your insurance.

You will be charged the full session fee for sessions you are unable to attend without 24 hours notice. You will receive your preference of text/email reminders once a session is scheduled with ample time to communicate the need to cancel or reschedule. Policies are discussed in the intake session.

You will be provided with a Good Faith Estimate upon your first session, and is available at any time on request.
