Therapy Rates

I want to work for you- not for your insurance company. By not taking insurance, we are able to determine the appropriate frequency of sessions, you do not have to have a diagnosis and we have the freedom to work on your goals- not what the insurance company believes you should be working on.

Integrative trauma therapy (CRM) can be more effective in 90 minute sessions rather than 50 minute sessions, which is something that insurance will not fully cover.

You will need to confirm that I am in network with your individual insurance plan, this will be billed at intake.

If your insurance plan covers “out of network” providers, you may be able to get reimbursed for part of the investment of services. You will need to call your insurance company and verify that you qualify for these benefits.

Yes! I will be working with a company called Thrizer. Thrizer will certify your out of network benefits and work with you to reimburse you for services. You can learn more about this process here.

As a therapist, I believe that it is important for mental health care to be accessible. If you are facing financial hardship, please reach out. I am able to offer a limited amount of appointment slots on a sliding scale. If you would like to not utilize out of network benefits and find yourself experiencing financial hardship, please reach out. We can have an honest conversation regarding your unique situation.

The current cancellation policy is as follows:

1. If you are able to be rescheduled within the same week, the cancellation fee will be waived. Please note that rescheduling availability is not guaranteed.

2. Each client is allotted with one free cancellation every six months; they do not roll over i.e. one cancellation is permitted Jan-June and one July-Dec. This does not apply for no call/no show to an appointment.

3. If I must late cancel an appointment (within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time) you will receive a “banked” free late cancellation to use at a future time. This does not include a no call/no show appointment.

4. No call/No shows will result in the full session rate.

5. Late cancellations (24 hours or less notice) will be charged a $100 fee.

6. Consistent attendance is essential for effective treatment; if you miss three or more scheduled appointments within a six. month period you may be discharged from the practice and will be provided with referrals.

If you decide to self-pay for services, you will be provided with a Good Faith Estimate upon your first session, and is available at any time on request.
